Poetry: Parasite, by Foster S (MATURE CONTENT)

if she crawled inside
you
you wouldn’t stop her
not even if she broke the skin
she could take what she wanted from you
wear your eyes in her sockets
take your ribs and play the xylophone
carve out a space in your chest cavity and
leave her own heart; she’ll do the beating
as long as you’re with her you wouldn’t mind
intermeshed
intertwined
it’s a give and take thing
and you’re the one who does the giving
